MAJOR ATRIUM STAIRCASE SYSTEM

Premier Inn is a service hotel chain and the UK’s largest hotel bran with more than 72,000 rooms in 800 hotels. It operates hotels in a variety of locations including city centres, suburbs and airports. In and amongst the group exist some flagship sites which appeal to the upper end of their consumer target market and as such demand a greater level of architectural appeal. This project was one such example, with an atrium which extended to 12 floors on a prominent elevation, this staircase represented more design form than functionality. Our suggestion to use a mix of tinted glass and polished metals was well received and when the daylight caught it or indeed the subtle LED lighting it could be seen for miles.
