Bespoke Aluminium Gantry Canopy for Modern Workplace Kitchen

In this project, we designed and fabricated a custom aluminium gantry canopy to complement a high-end workplace kitchen environment. Our goal was to deliver a sleek, functional overhead feature that elevated the space both aesthetically and practically.

Design Features:

• Material & Finish: Precision-formed aluminium with a smooth, powder-coated finish, ensuring durability and a refined visual presence.

• Form: Multi-tiered, curved gantry elements that follow a fluid, suspended loop design—creating a modern sculptural element above the kitchen island.

• Lighting Integration: The canopy incorporates concealed linear LED lighting, offering consistent illumination for the workspace below while emphasizing the clean contours of the structure.

• Suspension Detail: Securely suspended from the exposed ceiling framework with discreet fixing points to maintain a floating effect and clean sightlines.

• Functionality: Beyond its decorative appeal, the canopy provides ambient task lighting, enhances spatial zoning, and ties together the material palette of the kitchen design.
